I would like to tell you I have won all the awards … but the last time I did I was about eleven and it was for a picture of Wind in the Willows (that I traced) for a W H Smith gift voucher.
However, what I am proud of is that :
I have been a writer for The M Word which has now won ‘Best Blog 2017’
I have been a freelance writer for Good to Know online magazine.
I was the winner of the June 2016 BISS linky with The Slow Clap
My poetry was commended in the 2015 Mothers Milk Books writing competition (for Beholden)
I was longlisted in the Tommy’s Mum’s Voice awards.
I was shortlisted for best comic writer in the Mumsnet Blogging awards 2016.
I have blogged since my mum suggested it when I was massively pregnant and pissed off in 2012.
I blogged for Mothercare for three years.
I have also self published three books. Just waiting to be noticed by a major publisher, receive a film deal and be able to retire to the sea. (Next to it, not in it).
